When: A 4 day festival in early June each year. This year the event takes place June 28th - July 1st, 2018.
Cost: Passes can be purchased for the entire festival as well as individual passes for specific events.
Details: Whether you want to learn about a specific wine region, new methods of production, or how to pair a wine with certain foods, you will not be disappointed by the plenitude of seminars offered at the Telluride Wine Festival. Even experts can expand their knowledge of fine food and wine, but if you are fairly new to this world, you will enjoy the laid back, unpretentious atmosphere.
The festival begins with the opening night celebration where the steady flow of delicious food and carefully selected wine begins. The following day starts off early with seminars and continues with a luncheon. After some more informative seminars, the end of the evening is celebrated with a scotch and cigar tasting; a wonderful way to end the first full day. Saturday offers yet more wonderful tastings and workshops, and is highlighted by a grand dinner and wine auction, benefiting several local charities. The next morning a gourmet brunch is served as it is time to say farewell to your new friends and beautiful surroundings.
