Overview: Since 1977, the Telluride Jazz Celebration has been taking over the town for a few days in early August. While the festival features plenty of established and international artists, it also tries very hard to nurture the "new voices" of jazz.

Where: Concerts and events take place throughout Telluride. Some venues include Town Park Stage, Wilkinson Public Library, Stage at Elks' Park, Sheridan Opera House

When: This event takes place over four days the first week of August. August 4th-6th, 2017.

Cost: Tickets vary by show. Ticket packages may be purchased in advance

Details: Fans flock to this celebration to see the musicians perform in the several intimate indoor and outdoor venues. Daytime shows are set against the back drop of the gorgeous San Juans, while evening shows are held at the various saloons and concert halls in the lovely Victorian-style town.
