Summertime hiking or biking in the mountains requires certain gear. Don't neglect to take protection from the sun with sunglasses, sunscreen and lip balm and possibly a hat with a wide brim is a good idea. The changes in weather conditions can be unpredictable, so bring a rain jacket for sudden storms. The evening will turn cool so include a long-sleeved shirt.
If you are on a skiing vacation, you will know most of what to bring, but don't forget to include those wool socks and plenty of clothes so you can layer them for maximum warmth. For the best glare protection, the lens of your goggles or sunglasses should be yellow. And stay safe by packing your helmet!
