If you need a tennis fix while visiting Telluride both towns have public courts that are free to use on a first-come, first-served basis. The courts are well-kept have some of the most scenic backdrops possible. Just remember to keep your eye on the ball and not the snowcapped peaks.
Where to Play Tennis
Town Park
The Telluride Town Park has public tennis courts near the south entrance and the swimming pool. The courts are open sunrise to sunset, and upcoming lessons are posted on the bulletin board.
Mountain Village
There are five public courts at The Peaks Resort and Spa. The courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Lessons are also available through the pro shop inside. The courts are open sunrise to sunset.
