Churches
As a part of the community since the early mining days, the churches in Telluride, Colorado continue to provide places of worship and a place for community events. Attendees at church have gone from miners and their families, to present day community members and tourists who travel to Telluride to ski. Some of the churches has even adapted their service schedules during ski season to accommodate the local ski activists.
Telluride, Colorado has a year round population of less than 5,000, but that population continues to grow. As a part of that growth, membership and attendance at the various churches has also grown. More and more individuals and families are beginning to call Telluride their permanent home.
