Repertory Theatre
The Telluride Repertory Theater is truly a community theater in everysense of the word. Created in 1990, it is the town's only not forprofit theater group, showcasing everything from musicals to Shakespeare tocontemporary plays.
The REP, as locals call it, offers year round, semiprofessional, and affordable theater to be enjoyed by visitors and residents alike. The REP strives each year to bring unique and entertaining shows to its audience, and because it relies on the generous support of its donors, it succeeds. The Telluride Repertory Theater has 2 main productions each season. If you enjoy musicals, then check the schedule each spring and summer when the repertory theater puts on a spectacular show at the Sheridan Opera House. You can even watch a production under the stars with the REP's classics in the park series. Grab a blanket and a picnic and head out to a production at either Telluride's Town Park or the Sunset Stage at the Mountain Village for an unforgettable evening.
