The Mountainfilms festival in Telluride is a blend of film, seminars, conversations, art, and slide shows in an effort to display the profound effects of visual art. The festival focuses on the present and how we can instigate change for a profitable and safe future within wild spaces.
The Mountainfilms festival has gained such respect and popularity it is spanning the globe to places like Chile, New Zealand and Norway. The focus is not solely on films about mountains, though mountains serve as the basic metaphor for nature and survival. Mountainfilms promises to enlighten each participant through plenty of visual aids as well as extensive conversation.
There are a variety of ticket packages available along with single ticket purchase. The Student Rendezvous program invites middle and high school students to meet and talk with a variety of environmentalists, adventurers, scholars, and artists.
