Telluride Town Park
Telluride Town Park is located on the east side of town at the head of the valley. The Town Park is comprised of thirty-six acres of landscaped public park and festival grounds. The Park is used year round for all types of activities including summer festivals and ball games to winter cross-country skiing and games of broomball.
If you are looking for a place to relax or a place to enjoy some type of organized sport, check out the Telluride Town Park. There are a variety of programs all year round taking place in the park – some of which are sponsored by the Telluride Parks and Recreation Department. The Town Park rests on thirty-six acres of manicured public and festival grounds.
When there is snow on the ground, you can enjoy cross-country skiing, play a game of broomball, take a spin on the ice or join in a game of ice hockey. When the snow has melted, you can play a game of baseball, tennis, basketball or enjoy the skate facility. There are wide grassy areas just right for playing Frisbee.
It is here that many of Telluride's festivals take place. Although the actual location of the Park is on the east side of town, the heart of the town's activities take place in Telluride Town Park.
